Yes. We work with architects, engineers and other consultants throughout a project. We are happy to discuss how site management, decisions and communication will work so that everyone understands their role from the outset.

We coordinate the work on site and work closely with you and the other professionals involved. We agree how best to communicate during the build, provide regular updates and raise questions or issues as they arise. Decisions made at the right time help keep the work moving.

Changes can arise during a build, particularly when renovating an existing property. They may come from a change you would like to make or from something discovered once work is underway. We will explain the proposed change and its likely effect on cost and timescale, then agree how to proceed before carrying out the additional work wherever possible.

This depends on the size and stage of your project and our existing commitments. Once we understand what you are planning, we can discuss a realistic timescale with you. Planning approvals, design decisions, materials and other factors can affect a start date, so we will keep you informed if plans need to change.

Yes. Simon is a Certified Passive House Tradesperson, and we apply our knowledge of insulation, airtightness and careful construction detailing to relevant projects. If you are planning a certified Passive House or EnerPHit project, we can work alongside your design team to understand the requirements and our role in delivering them.

Yes. We hold insurance for our building work, including public and product liability, contractors’ all-risk, employers’ liability and environmental liability cover. We can provide details of our current policies when discussing a project.
